Night:
This night Prophet Muhammad pbuh started his journy from Macca to Madina and spent this night in cave Soor. While Hazrat Ali a.s. was sleeping on the bed of Prophet Muhammad pbuh posing as Prophet with the danger to his life.
Allah j.j. acknowledged this act in the same night by this Ayat;

Day:
It is better to observe fast on this day because the Prophet Muhammad pbuh and Hazrat Ali a.s. were saved.
It is also better to recite the Ziarat of Prophet Muhammad pbuh and Ziarat of Hazrat Ali a.s.
Some Ulama say that this is the martyrdom day of Imam Hasan Askari a.s., however, mostly it is said to be on 8th Rabi-ul-Awal.

This is the martyrdom day of Imam Hasan Askari a.s. in 260Hj and Imam Mehdi a.s. become the last Imam.
It is better to recite the Ziarat of Imam Hasn Askri a.s. and Imam Mehdi a.s.

This is the first day of Imamat of Imam Mehdi a.s.

Today is an Eid day because Umer Bin Saad (the commander of Yazeed's army in Kerbala) was killed.
It is better to do the following on this day;
* Spend some money for poor persons.
* Invite Momineen on Lunch or Dinner.
* Give gifts to family members.
* Wear a good dress.
* Spend some time in pray.

According to Ahlay Sunnat, this is the birthday of Prophet Muhammad pbuh.
It is beter to offer 2 rakaat pray where in first rakat recite sura Fateha one time and sura Kafiroon 3 times. In second rakat, recite sura Fateha one time and sura Ikhlaas 3 times.
On this day, Prophet entered in Madina from Mecca.

In 64 Hijri, Yazeed Bin Mawiya died in the age of 37 years due to a desease.

It is also the Shab-e-Mairaaj.

Day:
This is the birthday of Prophet Muhammad pbuh. He born on Friday at the dawn (Fajr time) in his home.
This is also the birthday of Imam Jafer Sadiq a.s.

Observe the following amaal;

• Take laving.
• Be fasted, that is equivalent to one year's fasts. This day is among those four days on which fast is most recommended.
• Recite this Ziarat of Prophet Muhammad pbuh.
• Recite this Ziarat of Imam Ali a.s.
• When sun rises a little, then offer two rakaat pray, where in each rakat recite sura Fateha one time, sura Qadr 10 times and sura Ikhlaas 10 times.
